Make In India: Now this Indian company will manufacture doors for Airbus aircraft..

 "This is the largest export contract for any Indian aerospace manufacturer to date. This is the second contract given to an Indian supplier by Airbus for manufacturing aircraft doors. In 2023, Airbus awarded Tata Advanced Systems Ltd. the contract to manufacture cargo doors for its A320 aircraft." 

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make In India' initiative received a major boost on Thursday. European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has awarded a contract to an Indian company to manufacture doors for all aircraft in its A220 series. This announcement was made at an event held in New Delhi on Thursday, which was attended by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. However, the financial aspects of this deal have not been disclosed yet."


"This contract has been awarded to Bengaluru-based Dynamatic Technologies. The company is already manufacturing flap track beams for Airbus A330 and A320 aircraft. This is the largest export contract for any Indian aerospace manufacturer to date."

"On this occasion, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, 'India is becoming a destination for the manufacture of aircraft components.' He stated that it is the right time for Airbus to invest in India. Additionally, the aim of the aircraft manufacturer is to increase sourcing of components from the country to up to 1.5 billion US dollars. Last year, it was 750 million dollars."

"At the end of January 2024, Airbus Helicopters partnered with the Tata Group to establish the final assembly line for helicopters manufacturing in India. This initiative marks the private sector's leading role in establishing helicopter manufacturing facilities in India."
